Welcome aboard the Royal Victoria Railway, for a unique, 1 mile journey around the Royal Victoria Country Park, with spectacular views across Southampton Water and the surrounding park land. Look out for the wildlife and plants in the woods or just relax as one of our eleven locomotives pulls your train around our steeply graded line. All our trains have both open and closed coaches with cushioned seats for accessiblilty, comfort and all weather operation.

The Royal Victoria Country Park has excellent facilities and many large open spaces and woodland, to provide an ever changing scenery. From the blossoms and flowers of Spring, to the stunning colours of Autumn. There is a tea room, shop, sensory garden, a museum dedicated to the fascinating history of the park's former life as a military hospital, a Commonwealth cemetary, large duck pond and two adventure playgrounds to explore!
The park also boasts access to the beach along Southampton Water, where many large ships and boats can be seen as well as fantastic ancient woodland and open spaces to run around in. Please note there is a small charge for parking within the park.
